Fruit Butters do not contain butter! All are apple-based, blended with
other fruits.
All seeds are removed, making them "as smooth as butter."
MINCE: A fresh-tasting conserve for all seasons, made from our Apple
butter with fresh-ground oranges & lemons, plus raisins and special spices.
In early times, fruit butters were boiled down to thicken them. We add extra
fruit instead, so that the fruit is never over-cooked, and flavors are intact.
We then boil the preserves in jars, just like home canning. Extremely popular,
with fresh fruit flavor.
