All orders are shipped within 72 hours by ground service. We do not offer Express Shipping at this time. ETA for shipping ground is 5-10 business days, this does not include Saturdays nor Sundays. If shipping International, Alaska, APO, or Hawaii please review our shipping policy to these destinations below. We make every effort to ensure that your package will have a safe trip to its' destination but we can not control temperatures or handling by the shipping company.

Chocolate may not be available for Summer Shipping to some areas, we do include Ice-Packs for shipping. We reserve the right not to refund for melted chocolate/candy, but we will take every step necessary to ensure a cool and safe trip. This be no means suggest that we do not stand behind the products we sell. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, and would like a refund, please email sitequestions@diabeticdrugstore.com, or call our Customer Care Team 1-800-330-7225 for authorization. Once we receive the items to be returned in the original conditon, we will then credit the card for the amount of the items to be returned. Shipping charges will not be refunded.

International, Alaska, APO, or Hawaii Orders

We will gladly ship your order to any place you request, however due to the increase in international credit card fraud we no longer will accept nor ship international orders. This does not affect orders shipped to Canada, which are shipped out through FedEx GRound. APO anf FPO Orders are accepted and shipped to the base. Orders shipped to Alaska, APO, or Hawaii are shipped using the United States Postal Service. This is based on the cost of shipping to these destinations using other services. We have found that the USPS has very competitive rates and the delivery time is between 1 to 4 weeks. The normal shipping charges usually apply to orders going to: APO. Due to increased cost of shipping to Alaska, Canada and Hawaii there will be a surcharge of $15.00 US added to the final shipping amount. If your order is oversize or incurs extra shipping charges you will be notified before any extra charges are applied. At this time we do not offer other methods of shipping to these destinations.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is added to orders shipped to Virginia, USA the current sales tax rate for Virginia residents is 5%

How to Order

Order Online: using our secure server (The easiest & fastest option)

1. To place an order online, click on "Add To Cart".
2. Choose the quantity you want and follow the instructions on the screen to finalize your order.
3. To check out, click on "Checkout" on the top of the toolbar.
4. We accept Visa, Mastercard & American Express.

Buying online is easy and secure. For every item, there will be an "Add to Shopping Cart" button. This button adds the item to your shopping basket. Putting something in your shopping basket does not commit you to buying it. After you put something in your shopping basket, you can choose to place the order immediately or continue shopping.

You can put as many items as you want in your shopping basket. When you are finished and want to place the order, you can get back to your shopping basket by clicking Shopping Cart button in the tool bar. When you submit your order, it will be confirmed via e-mail and will include your order number. Please include your order number and name with all correspondences.

Or for those of you who feel uncomfortable sending credit card information through the internet, the following methods are available:

Order by Mail: You may print out your order form (shopping cart) and send it with payment in U.S. $ to our address below. If paying by check, please allow 14 business days for your order to ship. Money Orders will ship without delay.

Payment Options

Pay by Credit Card Using Our Secure Server. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express, via our secured server.

Pay by check or money order payable to Appomattox Drug Store. You can mail your check or money order, along with a copy of your order in U.S. dollars for the amount of your order. Please note that currently we only accept money orders and checks denominated in U.S. dollars. Paying by check slows down your order since we don't ship the order to you until your funds clear.

Product Availability

All products listed are available at the time of order. If, for some unforeseen reason an item is out of stock, you will be notified by email or telephone within 2 business days for a substitute item. We will not substitute items contained in your original order with out your permission.
